Recently we have had numerous complaints about guns (mainly BB or pellet) that are being discharged in the subdivision.

Please note this is against the law and the police will be called out if this continues.

We were asked to send out this email as a complimentary warning before the authorities are called.

Even though we are in the "country" it is still NOT safe to fire any weapon this close to homes. These bullets have been known to ricochet off items and hit non-targeted items. We want to warn and inform before a child/person or animal is injured.

Safety of each of our neighbors is our #1 CONCERN.

"La revised statue 14:94 Illegal discharge of a weapon. Parish ordinances cover discharge in or near a subdivision. which both are misdemeanors unless directed toward a person"

IMCA Security Patrol is ACTIVE!

Thank You Volunteers!

***REMINDER***

Please add *Cleaning out your culverts/ditch* to your yard maintenance. This will help tremendously with water flow during and after a heavy rain.

***NOTE***

Police presence HAS been increased!

So, if you are up to NO GOOD- LEAVE!

Revised Indian Mound Subdivision Covenants are Approved & Active

More than 66% of the subdivision has agreed to the additions and revisions of the current covenants. The covenants were filed on October 12, 2009 with the Clerk of Court and are active. This means all current and future residents of Indian Mound are bound to the covenants from this point forward. If you are selling your home, please provide a copy to the realtor or buyer.  Click here to view/print covenants.
